Fiat presented the first image of the new pickup truck Toro, which is about to start production at the same factory of the FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) concern in Brazil’s Goian, where since Jule Renegade’s jeeps since April this year.
The four-door Fiat Toro is built on a Renegade platform with a transverse engine arrangement and a permanent front-wheel drive, which means it also has a load-bearing body instead of the more conventional frame structure. There are not many details yet. For example, it is known that the length of the Toro is 4915 mm, that is, it is slightly larger than the new Brazilian pickup Renault Duster Oroch (4.7 m), but 300 mm shorter than the well-known in Russia truck Mitsubishi L200.
